Original Course Design and Layout by Phil McCloud for JNUG.
Modifications and Course Rework by Rick Hutchins.
I just love the new Nicklaus Signature addition. Links still has a better
game play. But the folks at Accolade sure now how to make a designer.
(Give or take a few features). Anyways, this course was originally
done by Phil McCloud and named McCleod's Briarpatch. I am opposed to rough
in the middle of fairways, etc... (I have yet to see such a design in a real
course). I rerouted a couple of holes, added the water hazards..(what's a
round without water) and created the Rosebush's and a tree using Gif's,
Dpaint II Enhanced and Accolade's Import routines. I just wish we had a
built in palette editor. Anyways, enjoy this course and Phil, if you are
out there. Hope you don't mind too much, I needed a gentle way to break in
the new features of SE and I did like your original course/layout, just not
the patchiness in the fairways and greens.
The next course I do will be entirely an original and will feature unique
objects, Multi-green holes and some very tough shots. If you see any
problems, I can be reached on ACCOLADE as EPH or on my own support board
for TEMPEST BBS (Amiga) at 509 962-5742 USR HST Dual 16.8.
Feel free to edit, copy etc... all you want.
Rick Hutchins
